THE BEEHIVE 2023

The Beehive is a popular, traditional tavern frequented by locals and is situated in the upscale Montpellier neighbourhood.

Customers can unwind with their canine companions while indulging in some hearty food and refreshing beverages in the pub’s garden and lower floor. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at the restaurant located upstairs.

SANDFORD PARK ALEHOUSE

Sandford Park Alehouse, in case you hadn’t guessed from the name, is the place to go for premium kegs, and their ale and beer selection is always rotating so you can always find something new to gulp.

Help yourself to a cold one while the helpful staff fusses over your dog and throws in a few free treats. And if you come on a Sunday, we may even give your dog some of the leftovers from the roasts!

THE OUTDOOR INN

The Outdoor Inn is an outdoor tavern in the middle of the high street that manages to capture the spirit of a music festival without leaving the outdoors. Due to the outdoor nature of the event, Fido is welcome to tag along while you indulge in some comforting beverages and hearty fare.

There is no better spot to socialize with friends and your dog when the weather is nice, and if clouds do roll in, there are a few covered tables and pods to retreat to. However, availability is limited, so make your reservations early if the weather forecast calls for sunny skies.

THE BROWN JUG

THE SWAN

The Swan is a conventional pub that serves up a wide variety of drinks and bar snacks, but it also has a surprising and delectable menu of Indian street cuisine.

THE TAVERN

The Tavern may have a classic old-fashioned name, but the interior is thoroughly modern and Anglo-American. Although the tiled facade of The Vine makes it look like a classic city boozer, it is nothing like those other two establishments.

Although it has the feel of a cozy pub, the focus here is on the mouthwatering Thai cuisine that is served. You and your dog are welcome to relax here as you enjoy some delicious local fare and friendly conversation with your pals over a game of cards or a board game.

The Royal is the place to go if you and your dog want to relax with a drink after a stroll or if you want to watch how well your dog does in the yearly dog show.

THE BOTTLE OF SAUCE

Bottle of Sauce is a lively and eccentric bar that welcomes four-legged friends both inside and out, with the staff ready to shower your pup with affection and a jar of doggy goodies at the ready. In addition, the menu features numerous options for the human patrons to indulge in some hearty comfort food, such as the fresh woodfired pizzas and the incredibly juicy burgers.

If chatting it up with the woofer isn’t enough, you can also play some table tennis or pool at this chill bar.

The Brown Jug isn’t the only dog-friendly pub in Cheltenham; Tailors is its sister establishment, and it has the same commitment to excellent customer service and delicious pub fare.

The pub has two outside areas where you can “sit!” with your dog while admiring the pub’s attractive ivy exterior, or you can “sit!” in the bar and possibly watch the game on the television.
