Which kind of water is best for my bird?

The avian vet in Florida has declared that regular tap water is fine for your birds. Dr. Gregory Harrison, DVM says, “I don’t think every bird needs to have bottled water brought from France in his cage.”

What kind of water can budgies drink?

A source of free, filtered water for budgies is hard to come by.
Therefore, if spring water is available, it should be used. Consequently, this is the superior choice if potable water can be obtained directly from the taps at your residence or workplace.

Do parakeets need special water?
