Harrogate, a historic spa town with miles of walking trails and several restaurants and pubs, has long been a popular weekend destination.
Its location in the heart of some of the world’s most picturesque scenery makes it an ideal starting point for hikes through the nearby Yorkshire Dales or a day trip from the nearby city of York.
You can “pup” into any one of Harrogate’s many dog-friendly pubs after a day of hiking along some of the best trails in Yorkshire or a scenic stroll down The Stray.

In particular, the pizzas made in stone ovens. They work with many brewers throughout Yorkshire, so you can buy beer made in the area. Coffee and tea that have won awards are also available for those who choose to avoid alcohol. The best part? The dog is also welcome.
