The Nut Tree is a locally owned and operated gastropub that boasts an impressive selection of fine wines, craft beers, and premium spirits.

THE DOLPHIN
The Dolphin is conveniently located just next to another dog-friendly hotspot, The Ship, and close to a nature reserve and bluebell woods for those who enjoy long strolls.

THE OLD INN

The New Castle stands out from the crowd because it was designed in the style of an Edwardian folly. There are constantly new furry friends to make at the chic and contemporary Brunello Lounge, which is one of the paw-some and sup-aw dog-friendly cafe/bars in the Lounge group.

Another great dog-friendly pub in Weston-super-Mare, the Duke of Oxford is a great place to stop for a drink after a stroll on the beach with your pet. THE GEORGE AND DRAGON
The George and Dragon is one of the greatest “real” pubs in Weston-super-Mare, with plenty of decent beer, TVs for watching sports, and a wide variety of pub games.
It’s not the nicest pub in town, but it’s centrally located just minutes from the beach and welcomes all members of your family—young and old, two-legged and four-legged alike—with open arms.

THE ANCHOR
The Anchor is the nearest dog-friendly pub to the caravan site in Weston-super-Mare, so it’s a must-visit if you’re staying nearby.

The local pub The Dolphin is one of the top 10 dog-friendly venues to dine and drink in Somerset, but so is the cafe/bar Stones. A coveted traveler’s choice award was bestowed upon them this year, too.
It’s well worth it to stop by for the thick slices of homemade cake, fresh seafood, and breathtaking views of the bay, as well as the basic yet delicious fare. This adorable eatery offers canine ice cream and provides complimentary dog biscuits, so you can take your pooch for a walk on the beach while also satisfying its hunger.

BLACK CAT MICROPUB
Although the landlord’s love of cats inspired the pub’s name and decor, the only cats you’ll find at the Black Cat are the ones on the local dogs who come in with their human patrons.
Even though it’s the tiniest watering hole in town, this cosy, slightly gothic micropub has an impressive drinks menu, including a wide variety of beers, wines, and gins.

BOROUGH ARMS
The Borough Arms is conveniently located close to the train station. The bar has undergone extensive renovations, and the result is a clean, modern space where patrons and their pets may relax in style.

THE BEAR INN
The Bear is located mere moments from the beach, the pier, and the heart of town. You and Fido are welcome to come inside this what appears to be a very typical, cosy, traditional tavern, and even stay the night if you so choose.
Dogs are well-loved here, and it’s not uncommon to find a few of canines nestled under the tables. After some time at the beach, “pup” in here for a refreshing beverage.

LANDING LIGHT
Another Weston-super-Mare pub that allows dogs inside and in the garden is the Landing Light. As business resumed as usual, they stated they would be providing additional “doggy extras,” such as a water station for dogs. This is in addition to the wonderful attention that the staff normally gives to cats and other furry friends. On top of that, the rotisserie chicken here is legendary, so be sure to get extra for Fido.
